Olin Park concert series delayed until fall this year
Friends of Olin-Turville, a free concert series that has held concerts in the Olin Park pavilion since 2010, will take place in September this year, according to the Wisconsin State Journal. The event, which usually takes place in May, faced setbacks with weather and securing dates for bands in time.
Olin Park is located between John Nolen Drive and Monona Bay. Concerts are held in its restored 1884 pavilion and attract as many as 150 people in favorable conditions.
Concerts will run from 6–8 p.m. on Thursdays and will take place September 7, 14, 21, and 28.
This year’s musical acts have yet to be finalized.
