Nonprofit to give away masks, air purifiers today for public safety in case of future crises 

Local nonprofit Freedom Inc. will give away 400 air purifiers and over 1,200 N-95 masks from 4–6 p.m. today in a community service effort to assist citizens in need during future public health and safety crises, the Wisconsin State Journal reports.

Distribution will take place at the Freedom Inc. office at 2110 Luann Lane.

The project cost is close to $50,000. The nonprofit is asking elected officials to fund this type of service for the community as well at the city, county, and state levels.

Freedom Inc. works to achieve social justice for low- to no-income communities of color in Dane County through direct services, community organization, and leadership development.
