Nonprofit Mentoring Positives opens Muriel’s Place
Nonprofit youth organization Mentoring Positives opened a new storefront, Muriel’s Place, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 18, according to Madison365.
The storefront, named for the late Muriel Pipkins, mother of Mentoring Positives founder Will Green, is located on the ground floor of the Ella Apartments at 2844 E. Washington Ave.
It will serve dine-in lunch and dinner three days a week, with proceeds directly funding Mentoring Positives programs. These programs provide mentorship and community opportunities for young people in Madison’s Darbo-Worthington neighborhood and beyond.
