New upscale co-working space opening in Madison

Madison will soon be home to one of the biggest co-working companies in the country, according to The Capital Times.

Industrious, a Brooklyn-headquartered startup founded in 2013, owns and operates 20 co-working sites in cities from Nashville to New York City, with seven more currently planned and aspirations to have 100 sites in planning by year’s end.

Industrious will open its Madison office on the fifth floor of the revamped former Anchor Bank building at 25 W. Mifflin St. on the Capitol Square in mid-November. Industrious’ space will feature an upscale common lounge with marble desks and a view of the Capitol. Also onsite will be a kitchen featuring coffee from Madison’s JBC Coffee Roasters and food offerings from Madison Sourdough.

According to Industrious website, the cost of working at the space will be $425 per month, a steep price increase over other local co-working spaces. It will be the ninth co-working space in Madison.
