According to the study, Wisconsin business owners pay workers $52,069 on average annually, pay a 7.9% corporate tax rate, and the average monthly commercial electric bill is $587.18.
Wisconsin has nearby company at the top of the rankings from Minnesota, which was found to be the most expensive state for starting a business. Minnesota business owners pay workers $60,958 on average annually, pay a 9.8% corporate tax rate, and pay an average monthly commercial electric bill of $673.61.
