New offices proposed on Brink block

Developer Curt Brink, who recently finished Hotel Indigo on East Washington Avenue, is showcasing new designs for his Archipelago Village in the 900 block of East Washington Avenue. In addition to an already-approved 11-story glass tower next to the hotel, Brink plans to bring new office space and possibly housing, as well.

Brink’s proposal includes a five-story, brick office building at 902 E. Main St. that would be partially occupied by the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA).

A 10-story, mixed-use apartment building may also be proposed in the future.

If all of Brink’s final elements are approved for the block, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report, his Archipelago Village project could be one of the priciest, dense, and diverse redevelopments in the East Washington Avenue corridor to date.
