New ideas for Seybold-Gammon corner
Developer Tom Sanford, owner of Sanford Enterprises, hopes to level a building at the southeast corner of South Gammon Road and the Beltline to create space for a new retail and a restaurant development.
According to a Wisconsin State Journal story, Sliced Deli currently occupies the 1.3-acre site at 6918 Seybold Road, but for years the building was an Arby’s restaurant. Sanford wants to inject new life into the corner and offer new space that could include retail businesses flanked on either end by a coffee shop and a restaurant.
Kevin Breitfelder, owner of Sliced Deli, is considering moving into the new space but is looking elsewhere, as well.
The proposal is under review by the Urban Design Commission.
