Movin’ Out offers revised plans
Plans for 38 units of mixed-income housing with a new commercial space for Red Caboose Child Care Center have been unveiled for a parcel of land that is part of Union Corners on Madison’s east side.
According to an article in The Capital Times, the plans are a refined version offered by Movin’ Out Inc., a developer that provides affordable housing with a focus on adults with disabilities, and Red Caboose. That plan called for a five-story building with 13,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, 48 units of affordable housing, and 30 underground parking stalls.
It was postponed after neighbors voiced concerns about the height and a lack of parking.
