Mount Horeb art fair returns July 15

According to a recent press release, Mount Horeb will host its 52nd Annual Art Fair on Saturday, July 15 from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. and Sunday, July 16 from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. It will feature over 175 artists and crafters from around the country, live music, and food trucks.

New food additions will include Thailand in a Truck, Vesperman Farms Ice Cream, J&J Curbside Grill, Nothing Bundt Cakes, and more. Live music will include Corina and the Boys on Saturday from 9–11 a.m., Lindsey Feuling from 12–2 p.m., and Mike’s Mud Music from 3–5 p.m. On Sunday, Corey Mathew Hart will perform from 11–1 p.m., followed by the Alpha Romeos from 2–4 p.m.

The event is returning to Mount Horeb’s historic downtown. A highway detour that moved the event off of Main Street last year remains, keeping the long-standing event one block away from Main Street. It will run along Second Street, east on Front Street, and into the parking lot of Duluth Trading Co.’s corporate headquarters. The music stage can be found at the Bike Depot on Second Street, near the Food Court.

Downtown retail businesses reported higher traffic and sales last year during what is already one of their biggest weekends of the year.

The Online Silent Auction returns this year, featuring items donated by the event’s artists and crafters and supporting the Wally Keller Art Memorial Scholarship and more.
