More retail headed to Sun Prairie

Kraemer Development has broken ground on a new 20-acre commercial site in Sun Prairie at the corner of North Grand Avenue and West Main Street that will lead to seven new buildings.

According to a Wisconsin State Journal report, the first, 40,000-square-foot phase will include a HuHot Mongolian Grill, America’s Mattress, Robertson Cosmetic Center, chiropractor, and a Park Bank branch, and will open next summer. The second phase is scheduled to be completed a year or two later.

In August, the nearby Prairie Lakes development celebrated the opening of a new Hilton Garden Inn and the area’s second Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse, and ground has broken on a 50,500-square-foot building that will house a T.J. Maxx, HomeGoods, and a Five Below discount store.
