Mixed-use apartment building considered for Packers Avenue

The Northside Economic Development Coalition heard a proposal from Design Coalition Architects for a Todd Gebhardt development at 3302 Packers Ave. The proposal is for a mixed-use commercial and multifamily residential structure that would include 61 residential apartments, four commercial spaces, and underground parking. A formal presentation will likely be made to the Plan Commission in June.

Meanwhile, a groundbreaking was held on the FEED kitchens project in the parking lot at Northgate Mall. FEED, a 5,400-sq.-ft. space offering rentable commercial kitchen space, will be owned by the Northside Planning Council. The project, which still needs to secure final approvals, could be completed by fall.
