Mint Mark owners to open ‘Muskie’ bar
Picture it: A Muskie bar with parlor games in Monona’s Lake Edge Shopping Center. That’s an unfolding business pursuit of Sean Pharr, chef/owner of The Mint Mark, and fellow owner and restaurateur Chad Vogel, according to an article in The Capital Times.
For them, parlor games are a nostalgic reminder of their school days in Stevens Point, where the annual spring Trivia Contest brings out virtually everyone’s competitive instincts. When their new venture opens in October, it will be a tribute to parlor games with a sporting name — the Muskellounge and Sporting Club, or “The Muskie” for short — and feature games like shuffleboard, ping pong and foosball.
