Minority businesses awarded WEDC grants
Five minority-owned organizations around the state will share $585,000 in grants from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp.
The grants — to the African American Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin, the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Wisconsin, the Hmong Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce, and The Business Council — will support initiatives such as business training workshops, financial awareness programs, networking, helping to secure financing, and one-on-one mentoring opportunities.
