Milwaukee Bucks basketball coming to ESPN Madison

The Milwaukee Bucks made it to professional basketball’s “final four” last season before losing to the eventual NBA champion Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference finals, and now their radio broadcasts have found a new home in Madison. Beginning with the 2018-19 season, the Bucks radio play-by-play can be heard on 100.5 ESPN.

In what marks the first professional sports team rights deal for 100.5 FM in its 21 years of serving Madison, fans will hear every Bucks preseason, regular season, and postseason game on FM radio. In addition to broadcasting the games, 100.5 ESPN will air the network’s pre-game show, the network’s post game show, and an additional one-hour post game show hosted by Justin Garcia that will be air exclusively on ESPN Madison and ESPN Milwaukee.

The news was announced by Keith Williams, vice president of Good Karma Brands, a sports media and entertainment company, and the market manager for ESPN Madison.
