Midwest Express lands its first jet
While more details on the flight schedules and pricing are still forthcoming, Midwest Express airlines has announced that it will offer nonstop flights from Milwaukee to three cities: Grand Rapids, Michigan; Omaha, Nebraska; and Cincinnati, Ohio. According to an article in the Milwaukee Business Journal, the flights will begin at the end of the year.
Earlier this month, Midwest Express announced an agreement with Elite Airways LLC of Portland, Maine in which Elite will supply flight operations, including aircraft. On Wednesday, Midwest Express showed off its new Elite Airways-operated jet, the Bombardier CRJ 200, a 50-seat aircraft detailed in yellow-and-blue trim. With these planes, the airline will return to more comfortable, two-by-two leather seating.
