Middleton health care startup expands to La Crosse

Pivotal Health, a Middleton-based, technology-enabled, health care delivery company, has expanded its clinician house call services to the La Crosse Metro area. The company now offers its services in the Madison, Milwaukee, and La Crosse metro areas.

Founded in late 2020 by Sal Braico, Pete Johnson, and Dr. Andrew Culp, Pivotal Health delivers health care when and where patients need it with clinician house calls. Using a mobile app, Pivotal Health patients can schedule an appointment with a licensed clinician at their home or office; they will also see costs associated with the appointment for full price transparency, manage billing and insurance, and see after-visit summaries.

Pivotal Health house calls are covered by most major health insurance plans including UnitedHealthcare, BlueCross BlueShield, Humana, Cigna, Aetna, and The Alliance. The company is also Medicare certified.
