Michael’s Frozen Custard to close

Thanks to the denial of a U.S. visa for his spouse, the attorneys for the owner of Michael's Frozen Custard say the Monroe Street business will close next month, according to a report in the Wisconsin State Journal.

The owner, Michael Dix, is married to Sergio De La O Hernandez, an undocumented immigrant at the time of the marriage in 2015. The report says Hernandez oversaw daily operations for the business, 2531 Monroe St.
