Mayor vetoes online liquor orders/pickup

The Madison City Council recently approved online liquor sales that would allow grocery stores to receive liquor orders online and then deliver the orders to customers waiting in their cars outside the stores.

However, Madison Mayor Paul Soglin has vetoed the idea, and now the council will decide whether or not to override that veto on Feb. 6, according to a report in the Wisconsin State Journal.
