Marquette Law poll: U.S. Senate, governor races are tossups

In the last Marquette Law School Poll survey of Wisconsin voters before the Nov. 8 election, the races for both U.S. Senate and governor are deadlocked just days before the vote is counted. Of likely voters in race for U.S. Senate, Republican Ron Johnson is supported by 50% and Democrat Mandela Barnes by 48%. In the previous survey conducted Oct. 3–9, Johnson received 52% and Barnes 46%.

The governor’s race is also a tossup. Among likely voters, 48% support Democratic incumbent Gov. Tony Evers, while 48% favor Republican Tim Michels. The most recent poll interviewed 802 Wisconsin registered voters and was conducted Oct. 24–Nov. 1.
