Madison’s fantastic fountain of youth
From the pages of In Business magazine.
One of the joys of working at In Business magazine is the opportunity to put a spotlight on inspiring professional stories. Through award programs such as the Executive of the Year, 40 Under 40, Most Influential, Women of Industry, and the Executive Hall of Fame, we’re fortunate to bring you great success stories in Greater Madison.
Each year, one of the toughest tasks we have is to select the 40 Under 40 class. As the popularity of this program grows, the selections get tougher to make. This year, we had close to 200 applications to consider, and there weren’t any “duds” in the group. So we had the extremely difficult task of chopping this impressive list down to just 40 final selections and then notifying 150-plus applicants they missed the final cut. However, it’s exciting to see the amazing young talent we have coming up in this business community. If we can keep this young talent here, the future of our region is in great shape.
With that, we present the 40 Under 40 class on page 31 of this issue! Every class is unique and special in its own way, and this year’s class can boast of many remarkable achievements both in their professional lives and in their contributions to the community. We also have a wide variety of industries represented this year, including auto service, chiropractic care, and even a primate sanctuary — to name just a few!
Due to space limitations, we can’t possibly describe every honoree’s accomplishments in the print magazine. To learn more about each of these individuals, I encourage you to attend our IB Introductions event on March 9, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Madison Club, where the 40 Under 40 class will be our guests of honor. The event is free but we ask that you pre-register in advance at IBMadison.com/intros.
I’m also pleased to announce that we will post our 40 Under 40 video series in the IB Ezine throughout March. This award-winning video series will give you an in-depth look into the lives of our honorees. You can subscribe to the IB Ezine at IBMadison.com/ezine or check out the videos on our IBTV page.
Let’s come together and celebrate these 40 inspiring young professionals!
