Madison telehealth startup DotCom Therapy names new CEO

DotCom Therapy (DCT), a virtual pediatric and adolescent therapy provider, has appointed Omar Dawood, M.D., M.P.H., M.B.A. as chief executive officer and board member, according to a news release.

Dawood comes to DCT with a unique perspective as a teenage stage IV cancer survivor, health care provider, and digital health pioneer. His past experiences include being the head of commercial strategy and president of BetterUp Care at BetterUp, chief medical officer and head of sales for Calm, and chief medical officer of Ginger and president of Ginger Medical Corp. (now Headspace Health).

DotCom Therapy founder and president Rachel Mack Robinson previously was serving as the company’s interim CEO. Prior to that, the company’s CEO was Darcey Nett.
