Madison suited for veteran entrepreneurs

In a study analyzing top U.S. cities for veteran entrepreneurs, Madison was named first in the category of livability, according to the PenFed Foundation.

Edelman Intelligence conducted the study with the PenFed Foundation Veteran Entrepreneur Investment Program and found that New York, Washington, Chicago, Seattle, and Minneapolis were the top cities for veterans to start their businesses. The study focused specifically on each city’s livability, economic growth, support for veterans, and the ability to start a business. Madison was listed eighth overall, moving up 21 spots from the 2019 report.
