Madison public market plan released

A draft proposal for a Madison public market includes three plans, ranging from $9.5 million to $13.5 million.

The structure would be located in a renovated city fleet services building on land bordered by East Washington Avenue, East Johnson Street, North First Street, and the Yahara River, and would likely include food vendors, restaurants, and retailers. Discussions between the city and developers are set to continue over the next several months.
