Madison public golf courses opening Friday

The Madison area’s four public golf courses will open to the public for the season on Friday, April 7, according to a news release from the city.

The 18-hole course at Odana Hills and nine-hole courses at Monona and The Glen are scheduled to open at 10 a.m., while Yahara Hills will open its two 18-hole courses at noon.

Only Monona will make golf carts available for the opening of the season. Bunker rakes and ball washers will also not be available, and the selection of food and beverages will be limited, according to the news release.

As spring weather is often subject to change, city staff will post updates on course availability at golfmadisonparks.com.
