Madison police anticipate more charges, arrests after spree of storage unit burglaries

According to the Wisconsin State Journal, Madison police have reported the possibility of more charges and arrests following a spree of storage unit property burglaries over the past two months.

The burglars, who have gained access to storage units by cutting locks, forcing unit entry, and climbing through walls and ceilings, have stolen items from clothes to bicycles, tools, photographs, jewelry, family records, and more.

Troy Lorenz, 41, was arrested for attempting to break into units at Aberg Mini Warehouses on May 27; officers are investigating other cases in which he may have been involved.
