Madison pizza restaurant makes Yelps top 100 list

Novanta in Madison was recently ranked No. 83 on Yelp’s list of the top 100 pizza restaurants in the United States and Canada, according to a report from the Wisconsin State Journal.

Novanta’s is known for its traditional Neapolitan-style pizza, and it gets its name, which means “90” in Italian, from the number of seconds it takes a Neapolitan pizza to bake in 900- to 1,000-degree heat.

Santino’s Little Italy in Milwaukee was the only other Wisconsin restaurant to make the list, coming in at No. 46.
