Madison Mallards pull the plug on 2020 season
The Madison Mallards have canceled the 2020 season due to limitations from Dane County public health officials, according to a statement, written in the form of an obituary, by the organization.
Uncertainty regarding Dane County reaching the third phase of reopening and the limitation of hosting no more than 250 fans contributed to the decision.
A “Celebration of Life” will take place at the Duck Pond on June 29 from 5–8 p.m. with free entry and beer and concessions for purchase. Ticket holders will have the opportunity to use a credit toward this year’s events or next year’s season tickets.
