Madison Investment Advisors planning acquisition

Madison Investment Advisors, also known as Madison Asset Management, will purchase Toronto-based international growth equity firm Hansberger Global Investors for an undisclosed price, pending regulatory approvals. MIA manages $16 billion in assets and has 100 employees across the country. Hansberger Global, a subsidiary of Natixis Global Asset Management, manages $4 billion in assets and has 10 employees, all of whom will remain in Toronto.
