Madison Country Day School to expand
Dane County’s only independent Pre-K through grade 12 school, Madison Country Day School, announced plans to add a 20,000-square-foot Academic Center and make other renovations.
Among the highlights of the $6.7 million project will be a new STEAM wing (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) that will be named for the John Hallick family. To date more than $5.5 million has been raised for the school’s “Spreading Our Wings” capital campaign. The college-prep school has about 440 students.
Construction should be completed by the start of the 2016–17 school season, and is being handled locally by Bray Architects and J.H. Findorff & Son.
