Madison close to deal with Judge Doyle Square developer
The city of Madison is closing in on a deal with Stone House Development to begin developing the Judge Doyle Square project by June 1, 2020.
According to an article in the Wisconsin State Journal, the tentative agreement will be introduced to the City Council on Nov. 19 and could be approved as early as Dec. 3.
The redevelopment would include a hotel, 161 apartments, first-floor commercial space, and an underground parking garage on downtown blocks that contain the Madison Municipal Building and the Government East parking garage.
