Madison chapter of Ping Pong Parkinson launches
Ping Pong Parkinson, a program designed to raise awareness of the benefits ping pong can bring for people living with Parkinson’s disease, has launched a Madison chapter, according to a report from Channel3000.
Organizers say exercise can be the best medicine for those living with Parkinson’s. The group also works on facial exercises, vocal warm ups, and even juggling to help people manage the disease.
Anyone can participate in Ping Pong Parkinson, including family, friends, and caretakers. The group meets on Thursday mornings at 10 a.m. and Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m. at the East Madison Community Center Gym.
