Madison again temporarily loosens parking restrictions
The city of Madison won’t enforce nonmetered parking restrictions through July 5 in an effort to ease the burden on businesses from COVID-19, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report.
Nonmetered areas include residential permit-only, one- and two-hour time limit spots in street sweeping and Clean Streets-Clean Lakes program restriction areas.
Additionally, the $5 maximum city-owned garage daily fee has been extended through July 5 and has been expanded to include the Brayton Lot on South Butler Street.
