Mad Urban Bees to close

Citing crazy fluctuations in local weather he blames on climate change, the owner of Mad Urban Bees says he will close his six-year-old business, which was based on honey production, according to a story in the Capital Times.

Nathan Clarke, citing April snows, scorching hot weather in spring, and record rains in August, called his business “a casualty of climate change” that caused honey production to significantly drop over the past two years.

Mad Urban Bees was profiled in the May 2015 edition of In Business magazine.
