M3 Insurance to build new headquarters

M3 Insurance, which has long been headquartered along the West Beltline in Madison, will build a new 45,000-sq.-ft. headquarters facing Lake Monona at 828 John Nolen Drive. Reportedly the largest privately owned insurance agency in Wisconsin, with gross revenues of $39 million, M3 currently employs about 140 people at its Beltline office and another 70 in four regional offices across the state. There is no price tag yet for the new building, which will be developed, owned, and managed by Livesey Co. in Madison. If it receives the necessary city approvals, M3 hopes to break ground this fall and move in a year later.
