Loop the Lake back on in person

Clean Lakes Alliance’s Loop the Lake is back to an in-person event this year, according to a release from the organization. The event starts and ends at Olbrich Park, following the official Lake Loop around Lake Monona. This year’s ride will allow participants to ride the course any time they want Saturday, June 19, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will also offer a virtual option that allows people to run, walk, bike, or paddle any course they want anywhere in the world from June 12–20. Money raised from the event will go directly toward funding lake improvement projects, community-wide educational programs, and volunteer monitoring.
