Local Shopko closing

A north side Shopko store will be closing by the end of August, according to the Green Bay-based retailer. The decision to close the store, at 2602 Shopko Drive (just off Aberg Avenue), will lead to the loss of 66 full- and part-time jobs. Shopko also has locations on Mineral Point Road and Zeier Road in Madison and on Broadway in Monona.
