Local nonprofits receive relief funds

Through a partnership with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago, Capitol Bank has received a $20,000 grant for the purpose of providing donations to organizations in the Madison area, according to a company release.

Capitol Bank is contributing an additional $5,000 to organizations providing COVID-19 relief in Dane County. The organizations chosen include Badger Prairie Needs Network, Boys & Girls Club of Dane County, Domestic Abuse Intervention Services, Habitat for Humanity of Dane County, Lussier Community Education Center, Middleton Outreach Ministry, Porchlight, Second Harvest Foodbank, United Way of Dane County, and UW Health’s COVID-19 Response Fund.
