Local beer distributors merge

Wisconsin Distributors of Sun Prairie announced it will purchase Watertown’s River City Distributing Co. in a transaction expected to close at the end of March. Terms were not disclosed.

Unfortunately, according to the Wisconsin State Journal, the end result will be the closure of the Watertown facility and a loss of 72 full-time and 35 part-time jobs.
