Less hope for office building to reopen

An office building at 131 W. Wilson St. that houses Paisan’s Restaurant and other tenants is now less likely to reopen, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. The 1971 building, which has been again closed by the city, now awaits a city decision on a demolition permit to make way for a new development. The building is managed for several investors by Executive Management, which along with developer Wilson Street Redevelopment claims the structure is unsafe and that the Plan Commission should approve a demolition.
