Lands’ End anticipating decrease in net sales

With a final report due out in March, Lands’ End is expecting a decrease of between 3% and 5% in net merchandise sales and services in its fourth quarter. The Dodgeville company is anticipating net sales and services to come in between $505 million and $515 million in the fourth quarter ending Jan. 30, compared to $530 million in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2013.

The company’s net income is also expected to decline between 20% and 26% to between $34 million and $37 million.
