Madison developer Joe Krupp is eyeing a surface parking lot on Atwood Avenue for a four-story, mixed-use complex that could bring at least 76 housing units to the Schenk’s Corners neighborhood. Krupp’s proposal includes about 3,500 square feet of ground floor commercial space.

According to a Capital Times report, the proposal for 1936 and 1938 Atwood Ave. includes a plan for paid public parking, but the number of parking spaces is dependent on whether the city of Madison agrees on TIF assistance. Krupp would like to break ground in spring and open a year later.
