Keva Sports looks to convert former Ale Asylum building into volleyball courts

Keva Sports, which is currently in the middle of a $4 million expansion of its Middleton facility, has submitted plans to the city of Madison to turn the former 45,000-square-foot Ale Asylum building into a home for eight indoor volleyball courts, according to a report from the Wisconsin State Journal.

As part of its proposal, Keva would keep the restaurant and taproom space and could accommodate up to 320 players and spectators.

Under Keva’s proposal, the facility would be used for adult and youth volleyball leagues and by youth camps and classes. The project is scheduled to go before the city Plan Commission next month.
