What goes on behind the scenes in the operation of sports franchise? Attendees to the third IB Icons in Business event of the year found out Sept. 12, as Conor Caloia, COO; Vern Stenman, president; and Steve Schmitt, owner, of Big Top Sports & Entertainment spoke about the company’s two local teams, the Madison Mallards and Forward Madison FC, which is enjoying its inaugural year at Breese Stevens Field. Big Top’s leadership team shared insight into the challenges and opportunities facing the organization and its teams, and how they deliver a memorable fan experience.
