Indoor capacity limits blocked by state appeals court
In a 2–1 decision, the 3rd Court of Appeals upheld a temporary injunction preventing the enforcement of Gov. Tony Evers’ order limiting indoor gatherings to 25% of a room’s capacity, according to a report from Wisbusiness.com.
The order was set to expire Nov. 3, but the Tavern League of Wisconsin challenged the order, arguing that it violated the May state Supreme Court ruling that canceled the extended safer-at-home directive. A Wisconsin tavern and various groups intervened in the suit and it was appealed to the 3rd District.
