ImageMoverMD gets $1.6M

A Madison company has raised $1.6 million from a couple of unnamed investors, according to a report at xconomy.com.

ImageMoverMD has developed an app that allows medical personnel, such as nurses or doctors, seeking further treatment or diagnoses help, to use their own smartphones to take photos of patient conditions — such as a rash or wound — and transmit them securely without breaking patient privacy laws.

ImageMoverMD launched in 2013 and has raised $4.3 million to date.
