IB Expo Buzz: Help your business take flight!

From the pages of In Business magazine.

Have you had the pleasure of meeting my good friend Buzz? If you’ve been reading our magazine this year, or if you are an avid follower of IB on Facebook, there’s a good chance you’ve seen his face promoting this year’s In Business Expo & Conference, which will be held Wednesday, Oct. 19, at the Alliant Energy Center. If you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Buzz, we’ve placed his photo here.

This year’s IB Expo theme is “Where Business Takes Flight!” Our pilot friend Buzz has generated a lot of excitement — dare I say buzz? — over the many Expo features that will help your business soar above the competition. Here are just a few of the highlights Buzz wanted me to share:

  • “The Southwest Way”: This year’s expo kicks off with a keynote presentation from Jason Young, a former senior-level manager at Southwest Airlines. He will share the inside story behind the success of Southwest, a company consistently rated number one in customer service and employee satisfaction. Attendees will leave with insight on how to apply these proven principles in their own organizations.
  • Sensational seminars: Visit the Main Stage throughout the day for informative and entertaining seminars and demonstrations covering a wide range of timely business topics. Our seminars will be of interest to professionals of any title, from all industries.
  • Vital business connections: With more than 115 companies expected to exhibit, and over 1,200 attendees expected to walk through the Expo doors, thousands of connections await. Attendees will have the opportunity to win valuable prizes as they make connections and collect signatures in their IB Expo Passports.

These are just a few of the many reasons why you’ll want to join us. For event details, we encourage you to page through the Expo Guide included as a separate supplement with this issue of In Business magazine, or go directly to the expo website at MadisonBusinessExpo.com.

There is a nominal ticket fee to attend the keynote breakfast, but attendance is free for the rest of this all-day event. We ask, though, that you preregister at MadisonBusinessExpo.com by Wednesday, Oct. 12, so you can get a first-class check-in experience!

Join us on Oct. 19 and allow us help your business take flight in 2017!
