Ian’s Pizza closes due to opening-day demand at Garver

An onslaught of hundreds of lunchtime visitors eager to welcome Ian’s Pizza to its new east-side location at Garver Feed Mill forced the business to shut down three hours after its debut on July 24.

The company simply ran out of dough and other ingredients, according to an article in the Wisconsin State Journal, and will be closed until further notice as the business regroups. It takes two days to bake the bread, plus the restaurant’s prep oven broke down at a private event the night before.
