Housing market continues to be hot for sellers
The Wisconsin housing market continues to favor sellers, according to the Wisconsin Housing Report for February 2021 from the Wisconsin Realtors Association.
Inventory continues to be low with total listings in the state down 38.3% from February 2020. However, home sales are up 5.5% from this period last year. In February 2021, there were 2.1 months of inventory compared to 3.6 months of inventory in February 2021. The median single-family home price is $215,000, up 13.2% from February 2020. The median price locally in the South Central Region is $256,000, the highest in the state.
