Hot housing market continues

Statewide, residential sales volume increased 8.8% over April 2015 for the strongest April since 2005. Inventory remained tight, with just 6.7 months of available inventory supply, and the number of listings was also down.
In Dane County, the number of home sales increased by only two, from 762 in April 2015 to 764 this year, while the median price of homes increased 4%, from $229,900 to $239,000.
