Horse fair draws second-largest crowd
The 2022 Midwest Horse Fair drew more than 61,000 attendees April 22–24, the second-largest crowd for the event, according to a statement from the organization. The weekend event was the first since 2019 because COVID-19 protocols forced the cancellation of the event for two years. On April 22, a total of 22,670 people attended the event, on April 23, 23,886 people attended, and on April 24, 14,941 people attended. The Midwest Horse Fair has been in operation since 1979 and is the largest three-day horse fair in the country.
